* Due to high demand for our summer camp programs we have implemented a policy at Hidden Acres beginning in 2019 that campers can only apply for one week of camp. This includes all camp programs that we offer. They can be put on a waiting list for an additional week. If space is available three weeks prior to the requested week, families will be notified.
Hidden Acres is a summer camp located between Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford and is a natural place for youth to grow, form relationships and have a lot of fun. Each week is filled with awesome activities including swimming, canoeing, archery, crafts, music, drama, nature exploration, climbing, camp-outs, sports, games and more. We are interested in the development of the whole person and are committed to providing a fun, healthy, stimulating and safe experience for your child regardless of their race, religion or national origin.
Campers will have an opportunity each day to explore what peacemaking can mean in their lives with our theme for the summer “What does peace have to do with me?”. How can we avoid, minimize and resolve conflict? What should we do when we're feeling troubled or angry? How is peace more than just the absence of fighting? What can we do to make this world a more just and peaceful place? Jesus perfectly demonstrated God's peace. He's the one who made it possible for us to experience peace ourselves and to reflect it to others. Let's discover together how peace can be a growing reality in our own lives and how we can help peace to grow in our world.
