NOTES FOR FAMILY CAMPERS

All Campers and visitors must register upon arrival

CAMPING IS FUN...

However, it is important to respect rules that are in place to keep you safe. Parents are always responsible for their children, no matter what their age. Younger children should be supervised at all times.

An important part of the Hidden Acres camping experience is learning respect for nature. We are called to tend the earth as a garden. As adults, it is important for us to model good stewardship of the environment and encourage our children to respect it all, from flowers to trees to fish, frogs and snakes. Take opportunities this weekend to explore nature with your family. Trail maps available from camp staff.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE WATERFRONT

  • Lifeguards will not be on duty at any time at the waterfront
  • Any campers who swim at any point during the weekend do so at their own risk.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at the waterfront at all times.
  • Swimming between 8 pm and 8 am is prohibited.

ACTIVITIES AVAIALABLE THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND:

Basketball, Volleyball, Pickleball, Ga-Ga Ball, Playground, Swimming, Sand Castles, Horseshoes and Nature Hikes

This tradition started when supporters of Hidden Acres brought their families along to get the camp ready for summer and has grown into an opportunity for any family to come enjoy the camp for a weekend.
